9 months (almost 10)

I better get this posted before I am posting a 10 month post...

November 18th Tanner turned 9 months old and mommy cried!! I cannot believe that he is 9 months old already!! Where does the time go? I think that it is finally hitting me that this is it, my last baby is growing up and rather quickly I might add.

At his 9 month appointment he weighed 24 lbs 2 ounces (95%) (Teeghun was 24 lbs. 9 ounces at 9 months)
30 1/4 inches tall (95%) (Teeghun was 29 inches)
Head is 18 3/4 inches around (95%, he said that with a melon this big he should be a genius :) HA!!) (Teeghun's head was 18 3/4 inches around)

He is crawling all over the place and doesn't seem to mind being left in a room alone cause he will just come find us now. He is sometimes waving, and babbles ALLLL the time (just like his mama :) He is getting better at pinching puffs and trying to get them to his mouth. He is standing up more and even took a couple steps yesterday at the doctor office. He will let go of one thing to try to reach for another but isn't quite "cruising" yet.

I am guessing that he will easily be walking before his first birthday...gotta keep up with big brother you know.

(sorry these pictures are so bad, we took them at the firestation when we got his new carseat installed)

December...ALREADY??

Seriously?? How in the world did we get to December?? I mean it is December 10th and we still don't have our Christmas tree up...and we need to put it up because Teeghun is old enough now to realize that it should be up. We are planning to put it up tonight so there will be new pictures tomorrow.

Early in November the builder that we are working with (Granite Ridge Builders) had Santa Clause come for pictures. We gathered the kids and headed that direction; holding our breath that we would get one decent picture. Many of you will recall Teeghun's first encounter with Santa:

Here was Tanner's first encounter with Santa:

I think that he would've sat there all day if we had let him, not a care in the world. Teeghun finally did get brave enough to at least stand beside Santa.

Teeghun seems to be getting more brave each time we see him.

We started the tradition of going downtown for the holiday lighting ceremony the night before Thanksgiving the year that Teeghun was born. Here is video of the three lights being turned on:

We had a wonderfuly Thanksgiving, ate way too much as usual and this year were treated to the stomach flu on Friday and Saturday....NOT FUN with a 2 1/2 year old and a crawling 9 month old!!

Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving

TUBES

Tanner has suffered from many ear infections since he was born...I think that we lost count at 6 or 7 of them!! Monday morning at 7:11 he underwent surgery to have tubes placed in his ears...he was a totally different person the rest of the day!!! We are starting to think that he has had fluid behind his ears since he was born and now he is hearing things differently. He has been squealing and chattering up a storm since Monday morning...I love it!!!

Just cause he's cute

Here is a recent picture of Tanner...
His onesie says "When God Created Me He Was Just Showing Off" (and yes, Teeghun wore the same onesie!)

Playing in the leaves with GG

My grandma LOVES to spend time with the boys; a couple of Saturday's ago she raked up a pile of leaves for Teeghun to jump into...I am not sure who had more fun Teeghun or "GG", even daddy got in on the fun!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

It was Tanner's first Halloween so we put the same outfit on him that Teeghun wore 2 years ago...the hat didn't quite fit but he still looked cute :)

Tubby time with Teeghun and Tanner

Here are some pictures and videos from a recent bath time...Teeghun loves to sing so there are a couple videos of him singing...then I asked him to do the Lord's Prayer and as you can see the ADD kicked in!! Enjoy!!

VEGGIE TALES

We took Teeghun to see the Veggie Tales in late October, I am not sure that he completely understood it at first but after the intermission it seemed like he was enjoying it much more. It was hard to get any good pictures but I did get a few.

Mommy/Teeghun Day

Teeghun and I spent the day together at Hilger's with our MOPS group in late October...We had a great time and it was nice to spend time with Teeghun one-on-one.

Do pumpkins float?

How tall is a pumpkin?

How much does a pumpkin weigh?

Choosing the perfect pumpkin

Found the two most perfect pumpkins in the whole patch!!

Wagon ride with mommy

How tall is Teeghun??

Halloween at the Zoo

We took two evenings of beautiful weather in October and went to the zoo with The Beverly's and the Lepley's...the boys both seemed to have an equally good time. Tanner loved watching people (he is his mamma's son!) and Teeghun started getting in to all the trick-or-treat stuff. There are so many pictures to choose from that I put them in a video...enjoy...

8 Months

It is hard to believe that Tanner has turned 8 months old since the last update...He is such a joy and has such a belly laugh!!! He loves his johnny jump and the exersaucer, those seem to be his two favorite pieces of work-out equipment!!! Here is a picture of Tanner and big brother on his 8-month birthday...yeah they are wearing matching pajama's...I can only dress them alike for so long!!

Kreiger Fall Party

Last Saturday was the annual Kreiger Fall Party and we all had a great time! We carved pumpkins, as you will see in the pictures I have to do the cleaning part cause Steve cannot stand to do that. This year Teeghun wanted to use a "light" kit instead of carving his so that is what we did. He also had an absolute blast playing with couins Morgan, Chelsea, Christian and Cameron...we had to drag him into Memaw & Baby Papa's house at 8:00 to take a tubby before heading home!

Pictures

Nothing really to update about but have some cute pictures that I wanted to post...

Ok, a couple things that I can share:
Tanner is cutting tooth number 3 (top right) and it is totally kicking his butt...with a double ear infection and another tooth coming in it has resulted in several restless nights lately. Hopefully this will be short lived!!

We went to Hilger's for their annual Fall Festival two weekends ago and we had a great time!!! Cousin Tami and her daughter (Kady) were there so we attempted pictures...this was as good as it got!! HA!!

Teeghun did enjoy himself and we are headed back there in two weeks with my MOPS group for a "field trip"
